Alaska Island Hostel is a very small home hostel run by one or two people. While we try to accommodate our traveler’s various needs, it is very difficult and costly due to ferries and flights arriving and departing all times of day and night.

In order to make a reservation at Alaska Island Hostel, you will need to provide answers for all the information requested below - whether you make a reservation request using the form below, by email, by letter or by a phone call.

Immediately after my ferry arrives between mid-night and 10AM and I will pay for the night before. Note: your bed will be ready when you arrive. (please provide arrival details above)
Immediately after my ferry/flight arrival (available between 8 am and 1  pm) and will pay $11 extra for early check-in. I understand my bunk may not be available until afternoon. (please provide arrival details above)

DEPOSIT and CANCELLATION:
In order to hold a reservation, we require a deposit for your fist night's stay ($25 per person).

Cancellation Policy:The deposit is fully refundable if you notify Alaska Island Hostel of cancellation or changes in your reservation at least 48 hours (2 days in advance.) If you notify us less then 48 hours in advanced of cancellation or change -you will not be refunded the deposit. NOTE: We reserve the option to require a larger deposit from groups of 4 or more people.
